Planting & Care Instructions
- Choose a sunny location with at least 6–8 hours of light daily.
- Use well-draining soil with a pH of 6.5–6.8; mix in at least 30% sand and rich compost.
- Plant plugs at soil level, packing soil firmly around the roots.
- Water 1–3 times per week, not daily, to prevent overwatering.
- Avoid soaking plants for more than 1 hour before planting.
- Pinch off early flowers to encourage root growth — each pinched flower produces two more later.
- Expect your first harvest about 12–14 weeks after planting, with berries continuing through the season.
- Fertilize only after plants are well established to avoid fertilizer burn.
